Our Open Stage for BIPoC from the Cologne area offers a stage for creative people who want to share their stories, voices and talents as part of africologneLOCAL. Whether you want to make music, recite poetry, act out a scene, perform a magic trick or show something completely different – you can express yourself here!

📍 Where: Old Fire Station, Melchiorstraße 3, 50670 Cologne
🎙 Who can take part? BIPoC of all ages from 10 years – solo or in a group, with or without stage experience!
⏱ How much time do I have? 5-15 minutes

💰 Remuneration: 50€/performer
🔥 How to apply: Send us a short text, audio or video (max. half a page/ 3 minutes) by May 2: Introduce yourself with your name, age and pronouns. What are you bringing with you, what would you like to show? Tell us about your project/idea. What technical requirements (microphone, amplifier, etc.) do you have? Would you like to perform in a group or alone? All languages are welcome!

SYou will find out whether you have been accepted no later than 2 weeks after your application. We will then look at what you need for your performance and how we can create a pleasant and respectful atmosphere for you and the audience. 💡 No pressure, just fun! If it’s your first time on stage, there will be an opportunity to get to know each other and exchange ideas beforehand. 🎟 Free entry – come along, celebrate with us and support BIPoC artists inside!
