ALL ABOUT TATTOO ART + COLLECTIVE TIBA

Music & Community Get-Together

The OYA Müllem has quickly become an important space, especially for people from the LGBTQIA+ community.

As part of africologneLOCAL, OYA invites you to a 1.5-hour session exploring the history and cultural background of tattoo art. A Q&A will follow, offering space for questions, reflections, and open discussion.
To dive even deeper into the rich and fascinating world of tattooing, visitors will also have the opportunity to get tattooed by local artists. Meanwhile, a live DJ will set the mood, creating the perfect soundtrack for the session and a welcoming atmosphere to hang out, connect, and relax together at OYA.

PLEASE BE AWARE
We are committed to creating a space that is as safe and inclusive as possible. That means we count on empathy, active listening and respectful interaction with one another. Openness and a willingness to learn are encouraged. Discrimination and hateful behavior have no place here. Yes means yes. No means no. Taking responsibility for yourself and those around you is part of how we hold space for one another. This is an encouraging space, where mistakes can be acknowledged and met with constructive dialogue.
Those affected by discrimination or harm have the power to define their experience—and to shape the space with us.
