Take the Stage is a platform for BIPoCs aged 10 and up from the Cologne area to share their stories, voices, and talents with the community—part of the africologneLOCAL programme.
Whether it’s music, spoken word, magic, dance, stand-up comedy, or something entirely unique—this stage is open to all art forms. No prior stage experience is needed: whether it’s your first time performing or you’re already at home in the spotlight, you’re welcome here.
We celebrate the diversity, creativity, and self-expression of Black, Indigenous, and People of Colour. The Open Stage is a space where shared experiences, bold visions, and individual voices can be seen, heard, and celebrated.
